Supply Chain Director - Building Materials

Petty Marsh is partnering with our client in the Building Materials manufacturing industry in search of a Supply Chain Director (North America), reporting to the Global Director of Supply Chain. This person would provide ownership of Supply and Ops Planning and distribution network.

Position:Supply Chain Director

Area:Minneapolis area (hybrid when not traveling)

What You Will Be Doing:

•Managing and minimizing network cost with warehouse logistics transportation partners

•Providing best practice leadership in S&OP, ops efficiency, inventory and production planning, scheduling, and distribution resources

•Collaborating with purchasing, commercial, customer service, sourcing, ops, and finance

•Supporting and leading as a champion of continuous improvement projects

•Analyzing data to optimize inventory control, supply and inventory

•Improving metrics to connect and drive strategic outcomes

•Oversee reporting in logistics, planning and supply chain

•Coaching and guiding four high performing (4) direct reports with scope of five mfg facilities and three warehouse

Required Qualifications:

•­­ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or similar discipline

•9+ years of S&OP and logistics/distrib process leadership

•5+ years of supply chain senior management

•Advanced business acumen, influence, communication, goal and P&L management

•Intermediate-Advanced usage of an ERP and Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

•Ability to travel 40-50% domestic with occasional international
