Job Description



We are currently seeking a Supply Chain & Contracts Manager to lead the implementation of sourcing strategy for major renewable energy technology. This role is responsible for the entire procurement process (Strategic Sourcing, Prequalification, RFP, Contract Award) along with supporting contract compliance after award. This person should be familiar with principles of supply chain management for renewable energy systems including wind turbine generators, solar PV systems, and battery energy storage.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with project teams to define cost reduction or performance optimization
  • Manage onboarding of new contractors by handling NDAs, MSAs, and other prequalification paperwork.
  • Design, evolve, and improve optimal procurement processes for renewable energy projects.
  • Plan and execute the contracting activities associated with engaging equipment supply and EPC services.
  • Direct, organize, and contribute to business case presentations for executive management to support contract execution.
  • Partner with Project Management, Construction, and Development teams to implement strategy and support delivery of projects on time and under budget.
  • Work with technical leaders to define and implement Supply Chain strategies for major equipment and EPC services.
  • Evaluate prospective suppliers or contractors for compliance with company requirements including but not limited to safety performance, quality control plan, financial health, ESG programs, and organizational/past performance competency.
  • This role is responsible for securing equipment and services for renewable energy projects with optimal performance, total cost of ownership, quality, and safety.



Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain or procurement functions including at least 3 years in renewable energy.
  • Degree in Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or similar / relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain analysis including drafting and formulating contracts, bidding, negotiating, and administering major purchase orders.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Project is preferred.
