Conduct audits of supplier quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  2. Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet quality requirements, capacity, capability, and reliability. Develop and maintain a robust supplier qualification process, including conducting initial assessments and ongoing monitoring.
  3. Supplier Development: Work closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve quality issues, and provide guidance on quality requirements. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address supplier quality issues and ensure timely and effective resolution.
  4. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for incoming materials and components, including inspection, testing, and sampling plans. Ensure that all materials and components meet established quality standards and requirements, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve any quality-related issues.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report supplier quality data to identify trends, highlight areas of concern, and drive performance improvement. Prepare and present supplier quality performance metrics to internal stakeholders and senior management to support decision-making.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure that supplier quality requirements are effectively communicated, and quality issues are addressed in a timely and coordinated manner. Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new product introductions.
  7. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulations, such as ISO, OEA, ISO 31000, ISO 19011, and other customer-specific requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to supplier quality management activities, including supplier documentation, audit reports, CAPAs, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Professional certifications related to quality management, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP), or similar, are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
