What you’ll be doing...

This position is responsible for the Facilities management of our corporate aircraft hangar.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing safety inspections and ensuring that safe work methods and safety precautions are observed.
• Managing vendor contracts.
• Developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and supervising facilities operations and maintenance programs.
• Preparing and managing facility maintenance budgets, grants, projects revenue/expenditures, monitoring and tracking expenditures, inventory/purchases of authorized supplies and equipment.
• Supervising support teams.
• Making recommendations regarding the hiring, firing, advancement, performance, promotion or any other change of status of team members. Assess employee performance, hold employees accountable, take appropriate corrective actions, and train and provide ongoing direction and feedback to team members.
• Managing a team of Facilities Maintenance professionals to maintain facilities that are both safe and compliant.
• Planning and conducting facilities maintenance training programs; monitoring the status of required licenses and certifications; evaluating performance and professional development.
• Reviewing work to be performed and identifying resources necessary to complete the work.

This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Prior leadership experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Comfort working in a dynamic, highly professional atmosphere with top-level executives and their teams.
• Prior experience working with vendors.
• Aviation background.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the desire to proactively look for ways to improve.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior military experience.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Aviation maintenance background.
• Ability to be a strong team leader and self-starter.
