Job Description
The Security Operations Center Supervisor should possess a background in security operations. This is a supervisor position that is highly visible and directly accountable for the effective and efficient supervision and operation of the JMFE Security Operations Center (SOC).
Responsibilities May Include:
  • Manage, train and develop SOC personnel to assure all SOC service obligations meet JMFE requirements.
  • Develop SOC operational protocol as security service requirements dictates.
  • Supervise operations monitoring all business-critical SOC security service and maintaining assurance that SOC staff provide consistent service in line with operational protocols and security requirements.
  • Communicate and work closely with business units (Security, Risk Mgt, Corporate Communications, Facilities, etc.) in developing protocols and coordinating effective interaction between the SOC and these areas.
  • Provide timely communications and actionable intelligence to business unit management supporting the protection of people, assets/intellectual property, infrastructure, and related interests/entities.
  • Communicate all critical items requiring security management attention and coordinate with uniformed security management to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Able to work and function in stressful situations.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Security Operations Center, Dispatch, Military or Law Enforcement and experience in a supervisory or lead capacity, required.
  • Ability to foster an encouraging and successful environment for the team by embodying our core values of Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation and Accountability.
  • Our security operation is a 24/7/365 operation, so the selected candidate MUST be flexible and willing to be on call and support their team with emergency situations that arise on any day and at any time.
  • Possess strong communication skills in both the written and verbal format, in all delivery formats (i.e., in person, presentation, via radio, via telephone etc.)
  • Excellent teamwork and teambuilding skills
  • Possess strong computer skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively operate and manage security tools, systems and processes and effectively train team members on these and strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite.
