Supervisor. Cultural Engagement & Events
The Supervisor of Cultural Engagement & Events will report directly to the Manager of Multicultural Strategy & Events, and be responsible for supporting execution, implementation and coordination of comprehensive activation plans based on consumer centric strategies. This individual will have a track record of assisting with the implementation of large- and small-scale promotion that that drive sales, traffic, and brand trust. This individual is great at communicating and has experience with stakeholder engagement.
This role will support strategic execution of our Multicultural Strategy & Events within the Field Marketing team. The Supervisor will report to the manager to assist in executional excellence of events and ensure cohesion between national and local marketing team. We are also looking for someone data-driven, who puts consumers insights and business knowledge at the heart of every single strategic and creative decisions.
Support
- Serve as point of contact for field marketing and national team for assets and tools
- Coordinate cross functional meetings, capturing team deliverables, and ensure deliverables are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Brand & Content, Paid Media, Communications, Digital and Consumer Insights to align tactics to program and business goals.
- Assist team members in creating and executing consumer relevant promotions and activations
- Keep a pulse on emerging trends and platforms that offer new ways for the brand to maintain a modern, relevant presence in culture.
- Empower the ongoing measurement and evaluation of engagement efforts to apply findings to future initiatives.
- Partner with creative and social agency teams to produce breakthrough, best-in-class creative ideas.
Communicate
- Work with agencies to develop and present trend report that outlines current and future opportunities in experiential marketing, digital, music, sports, gaming, entertainment, etc.
- Take ownership of department communication outlining planned activities and distribution to appropriate parties
- Create post-activation recap and presentation
Execute
- Fulfill all elements within programs including on-site activations and promotion management.
- Manage event approval process across departments and functions. (i.e. BU field teams, OPNAD internal comms, legal, operations, etc.)
- Assist with securing owner/operator approvals and tracking/reporting internally on performance.
- Work with agencies and field teams to execute onsite activations at major events
- Experience working on content development for big brand campaigns a plus
- Strong written and verbal skills, including live feedback discussions
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual a plus
- Experience in multicultural marketing and passion for the multicultural consumer
