Director- System Laboratory Services

We are seeking a Director – System Laboratory Services in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Wausau Hospital who provides administrative and clinical leadership for Laboratory services provided by Aspirus Wausau Hospital. In addition, provides technical, regulatory, and service leadership to laboratories within Aspirus Clinics, Inc. (ACI) working closely with ACI Director of Clinical Services. Plans, coordinates, and directs the technical and administrative functions of Lab in accordance with Aspirus strategic plan.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree in Business or a health related field strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical field.
• A minimum of five years’ management experience as director or manager of laboratory.

Hours: Full time Benefit package available, 40 Hours per week, Day Shift

Wausau, Wisconsin is located in the lovely Wisconsin River valley at the center of the state. We have a metro area population of 80,000 with excellent schools, busy performing arts center, large private music conservatory, and visual arts center.
Quiet residential neighborhoods surround Lake Wausau and overlook the Wisconsin River or have views of Rib Mountain State Park. A normal commute is ten minutes to any part of town. We enjoy four seasons of recreation including all water sports, sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, soccer, down-hill and cross-country skiing. We are conveniently located three hours from Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
