The Pricing Analyst Internship is a temporary position within HII – Mission Technologies which prepares a college student for entry into the workforce by providing emphasis on training and gathering experience related to a student's educational discipline and which is applicable to the business needs of the company. The position is for college students who are rising sophomores or juniors in their academic program and available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during spring/summer 2023.

Essential Job Responsibilities


  • Prepare clarifying questions on RFP requirements
  • Learn about cost/price modeling and strategic pricing
  • Assist to expand internal knowledge repositories and databases on competitors and customers
  • Introduction to PTW and implementation of price strategy
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • In support of assigned functional area, performs professional administrative work of an introductory nature gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
  • Review and become familiar with Government requests for proposals
  • Perform work that is pertinent to field study

Minimum Qualifications


  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must currently be enrolled as a student in an accredited public or private college or university . Preference for Finance, Accounting, Data Analysis, Economics, or related curriculum. Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher while participating in this internship.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with between 40% and 60% of the required credits completed.
