Your Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our design and construction projects, contributing your expertise to ensure the integrity, safety, and functionality of our structures. Your work will involve:
1. Structural Design:Developing and analyzing structural designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
2. Project Coordination:Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of structural elements within the overall project plan.
3. Structural Analysis:Conducting comprehensive structural analysis and simulations to assess load-bearing capacity, stability, and resilience of the designed structures.
4. Technical Documentation:Preparing detailed engineering drawings, reports, and specifications to communicate design intent and facilitate construction processes.
5. Quality Assurance:Conducting site inspections and evaluations to verify the implementation of design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
6. Continuous Learning:Staying abreast of industry trends, advancements in structural engineering, and emerging technologies to bring innovative solutions to our projects.
Requirements:
-. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
-Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain licensure in the state of Florida.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, including experience with Miami-Dade County regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, working well within multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly ambitious and driven, with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience in designing and working with diverse structural systems, including concrete, steel, and timber.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and techniques is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Florida or already residing in the area.
