Job Description

Sr. Structural Engineer opportunity in Pensacola, FL for an established company that specializes in air pollution control systems and related components for various heavy industries. The ideal candidate will have worked for a fabrication or construction company or similar. This is an in-office, full-time permanent position, with competitive pay and benefits.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop structural engineering designs and solutions for custom APC systems/machinery, installs. and retrofits.
  • Collaboration with consultants and engineers, as well as field crews.
  • Management of design projects from beginning to end.
  • Supervise work of other junior engineers and help mentor and develop less experienced engineers.


Qualifications

  • Concentration in heavy industrial structures: typical industries served are power plants, paper mills, and refineries.
  • "Real-world" structural engineering experience, ranging from early conception, analysis, design, fabrication, erection, solutions to field-discovered problems, retrofitting existing structures, etc.
  • US citizenship or Green Card required.
  • BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License, preferably in the state of Florida.
