STREAMING DATA ARCHITECT

Description

Ness Digital is looking for a Streaming Data Architect to design, implement and document complex business and technical architecture deliverables for data streaming programs across multiple lines of business and technologies/systems. In this role, you should provide thought leadership with strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence with influential communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Good technical leadership skills and relevant experience working with other highly technical resources through adopting new technologies while also maintaining highly available, mission critical systems
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with a group of high performing, technical individuals
• Good consultative, communication, team player and analytical skills are a must, as you will be regularly interacting between various teams which are distributed across the US
• Possess deep technical knowledge and extensive experience with complex, IT environments including applications, middleware, storage, networks, information security, and operations as well as have a solid understand of streaming data, Kafka and ideally, Flink and Confluent.
• Hands-on experience with: Kafka, Confluent, Flink, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Github, Jira, AWS, ksql
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to business and technology leaders, architects, developers, and team members
• Hands on experience with agile, devops and continuous integration / continuous delivery
• Compliment technical aptitude with sales engineering to participate in client opportunity workshops and calls
• In depth knowledge and understanding of data messaging patterns, with specific expertise in Kafka streaming
• Demonstrate ability to support architecture recommendations for client streaming needs and make decisions with research and reasoning
• Strong hands-on experience scripting/development skills in Python, Ruby, Go, Java, JavaScript, Scala, etc. in a corporate environment

Salary Range $200K-$250K
