Role


The role of the Strategy Analyst within the Corporate Strategy group is to support members of the strategy group in efforts to drive forward critical, cross-functional, and highly visible business initiatives, such as


  • Finding efficiencies in our cost structure,
  • Improving go-to-market capabilities,
  • Supporting the company’s strategic planning process, and beyond.
  • Launching new businesses and business models,


You will apply your experience, project management, and analytical skills to become a highly valued, cross-functional business partner who challenges the status quo. This position is based at New Balance Headquarters in Boston.


Major Accountabilities


  • Help project manage, track, and report on status of corporate strategic initiatives, working with the Corporate Strategy group and cross functional teams. Maintain key project documentation such as timelines, milestones, roadmaps, budgets, resourcing needs, etc. as well as manage calendaring.
  • Collaborate with strategy team special project leaders to set program/project governance structures, including setting the appropriate meeting cadence with leadership and team members to drive progress
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional partners.
  • Contribute to the global strategic planning process. Asist with standardizing templates and formats for meetings and working sessions. Track and report on critical strategic plan KPIs.
  • Pivot as needed to address unanticipated challenges and complexity in the business.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve issues, and be responsible for appropriate escalation management.


Requirements


  • Retail, CPG, Internal Strategy, Business Development, or Consulting background a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of work experience.
  • Professional and confident with an ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and analytically, leveraging data to recommend improvements to existing processes and generate innovative ideas.
  • Experience developing business cases with both quantitative and qualitative elements.
  • Outstanding process-focus with ability to hit deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Dual capacities for collaborative brainstorming and independent ownership of work.

Flexible Work Schedule
