  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: civics, government agencies, or non-profit organizations.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills to structure partnership models and deal with complex technical, contractual, and financial issues.
  • Experience in advancing social impact causes or elections.
  • Experience with NGOs, government agencies, or in business development, partnerships, product management, general management, sales, or other related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to clarify and summarize complex issues and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing processes and policies.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
The Social Impact partnerships team enables unique mission-driven product experiences. This includes developing partnerships that help users in moments that matter through trusted content for sustainability and climate change information, health, civics and elections content, crisis response alerts and tools, learning, and economic opportunity. We work to enable product teams and build up external ecosystems in support of Google’s broader Social Impact mission.
In this role, you will develop and execute global partnerships that enable product teams to meet goals for efforts that address user needs around social impact content areas such as trust or sustainability. You will work closely with product leaders and cross-functional teams to source, discuss, and execute complex partnerships for Google, as well as develop go-to market strategy for scaling new ecosystems.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$188,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Understand product launches/plans and implications for Google and its partners, and lead related internal and external communication and strategy.
  • Define partnership strategy, identify new product-enabling partnership opportunities, and develop go-to-market plans for product efforts such as Crisis Response, Sustainability, Health, Civics, Edu, etc.
  • Partner closely with Product and other cross-functional teams to drive Social Impact product partnerships from conception, launch, and ongoing partner management.
  • Source and value potential partnerships, perform due diligence on the partner/content, and lead an agreemnt through execution and/or scale partner adoption as necessary for a new product ecosystem.
  • Manage coordination with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Policy, PR, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance) and other Business Development teams, including regional counterparts around the world. Support cross-functional initiatives to advance Google’s broader Social Impact mission.
