Role Summary:

The Strategic Accounts Team (SAT) is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our top Distributors and Key Accounts by being a proactive solutions-oriented partner. Our smaller teams of dedicated and knowledgeable individuals work closely with customers to provide a concierge level of service.


The Strategic Distributor Expeditor works with all Distribution Centers to ensure orders are delivered as requested and in a timely manner to ensure high service levels are achieved. Reporting into the Supervisor of Customer Care, the Strategic Distributor Expeditor develops and provides order-related reports to strategic accounts, and works closely with teammates to manage the requests of their strategic accounts. The Strategic Distributor Expeditor also works with various internal functions to resolve requests.

This role provides flexibility to work a few days on site in Covington, GA and a few days remotely.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develops, prepares, and communicates order data reporting to customers.
  • Processes or manages orders for our top Distributors and Key Accounts received via phone, email, and EDI.
  • Resolves requests for customer data and/or reporting not readily available.
  • Provides primary phone and email support.
  • Adheres to and ensures compliance with BD guidelines, protocols, and policies.
  • Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and future opportunities.

  • Member of the Strategic Accounts Team (SAT), providing concierge customer service support to strategic accounts, collaborating with team in a virtual and on-site environment.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or 5+ years of experience customer service or medical industry.
  • Demonstrated excellence in the continuous handling of meticulous detail.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to multitask using dual monitors, while working in multiple systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced in the use of personal computers and office software including familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment providing support to a team.
  • JDE, SAP or similar ERP experience desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to resolve potentially stressful customer interactions.
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a virtual team dynamic preferred.
  • Excellent data entry, proofreading, and typing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability – ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
