Part Time 1st Shift

Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (other days and hours as needed)

Pay

$14.56 - $16.68 / hour

Job Summary

• Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen
• Exercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products
• Communicates job information to accomplish work tasks.
• Sets up advertising signs and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales
• Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles; performs other housekeeping duties, including windows and restrooms
• Maintains good attendance as defined by company and/or department policy
• Practices good personal hygiene and maintains a clean work area
• Sorts and places product or items on racks, shelves, or in bins
• Sorts and repacks ingredients in repack room.
• Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
• Makes change, cashes checks and issues receipts or tickets to customers
• Demonstrates workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values
• Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise
• Transports packages to specified vehicle for customer when needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong commitment to and support of McKee Foods values, ethics, goals, and objectives
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least three months related experience and/or training
• Possess a good overall work and safety record

Preferred Qualifications

• Little Debbie product knowledge
• Previous finished product and ingredient handling experience
• Previous retail experience
