Work Location

Various – NPS Watch Engineer positions are located throughout the state of New Jersey, certain locations in NY (Penn Station, Spring Valley, and Port Jervis), or in Morrisville, PA so you must be willing and able to travel to any of these locations as required.

NPS Watch Engineer

The NPS Watch Engineer is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the boiler and the building in general.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Keep records and make reports.
• General maintenance (i.e. cleaning and painting of mechanical rooms, changing of filters etc.).
• Perform mechanical checks throughout the building (i.e. elevators, escalators, etc.).
• Maintain, test, and operate boiler and related equipment.
• Maintenance of mechanical rooms and boiler rooms.
• Read and log meters, gauges and other recording devices.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A Valid Driver's License.
• Must submit Black Seal High Pressure license with "In Charge" designation in order to apply.
• High School Diploma or GED.

This is a Unionized position.

Rate of pay:

The pay rates are tiered and are non-negotiable based on years and types of experience.
