Standard Products Assembler Jobs

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Standard Products Assembler to assist with electronic assemblies and subassemblies. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as control panels and circuit boards. This role involves following repetitive production standards, so we will consider any applicant with good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Training will be provided on the job. However, any soldering and wiring experience you may have is beneficial.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to blueprint specifications

• Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on chassis panels

• Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment and basic hand tools

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

• Complete other tasks as necessary

Ability to make decisions with given responsibilities of job scope

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED certificate

Additional experience may be considered in lieu of required level of education

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions

• Manual dexterity and the ability to read schematics

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to collaborate with other team members

• Must be detail-oriented

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Not Required):

• Soldering

• Wiring

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read and utilize written and oral communication to interact with co-workers and customers. Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job related skills, as well as relevant education or training experience.
Hourly Pay Range Minimum $14.81 – Midpoint $18.52
