Job Description
Job Summary: Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care. Monitors patients' progress and records pertinent observations. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.


Hours: Full-time (0.9) DAY SHIFT 7am-7:30pm; Includes weekend and holiday rotations


Required


  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position
  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (BLS Provider or BLS Instructor)
  • Associate's Degree higher in Nursing; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
  • Minimum one year RN experience in a hospital setting
  • Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
