Staff Accountant (Remote) Jobs

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with special projects, such as financial system upgrade.
• Debt and interest accounting.
• Partner with business owners to forecast/budget future spend.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly financial close, analyzing results and reconciling associated financial statements.
• Corporate invoice coding in Filebound, requires communication with business owners and vendors to facilitate accurate general ledger account coding.
• General ledger account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
• Marketing spend analysis, partner with 3rd party vendor and marketing department.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong computer skills: Excel mastery required and familiarity with general ledger accounting systems (Oracle Financials a plus)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as function well with independent responsibilities
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required
• 2-4 years of corporate accounting experience preferred
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deliverables
