The following are areas where we'd like to see you bring functional experience:


  • Assists in forecasting costs and revenues
  • Accounts Receivable processing, to include invoicing and collection of funds
  • Prepares complex monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets, profit & loss statements and income statements)
  • Ensures accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger and reporting related to complex GAAP accounting transactions
  • Assist with preparing budgets (for the entire company and by department)
  • Gathers, maintains and monitors financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities) ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Conducts detailed risk analyses at the request of the Controller and or CFO
  • Reconcile complex accounts, extensive research, advanced problem solving, and resolution within corporate standards
  • Other duties as assigned
  • New Project setup with budget and billing schedules
  • Performs month-end and year-end close processes
  • Work with external organizations and internal departments on project initiatives and various accounting issues
  • Assists with managing tax payments
  • Assists with internal audits
  • Analyzes financial trends
  • Monitors and reports on accounting discrepancies


Qualifications & Requirements


  • Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and appropriate supervision
  • Effectively interact with various divisions and levels of management throughout the company
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to work under and deliver under deadline constraints and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
  • Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts as well as consolidation accounting and strong knowledge of GAAP
