Staff Accountant Jobs

POSITION SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and verifying accounting information related to fixed assets, balance sheet, account reconciliation, posting revenue from our practice management software to Sage, and various other month end balancing and projects.

REPORTS TO: Controller

SUPERVISES: N/A

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

• Property Tax filings
• Special projects as requested.
• Assist with budget preparation.
• Tracking and recording of fixed assets utilizing FAS software and calculation of depreciation.
• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Input of daily cash deposits into general ledger.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

· 1-3 years Accounting experience preferred.
