About The Company

Our client is a private investment firm with over $100 billion in AUM with a focus on global real estate. The Staff Accountant will work in the firms family office and will assist in all aspects of the partners balance sheet and assets.

Responsibilities

• Update valuations of private investments utilizing sponsor provided statements as well as proprietary market research and data
• Complete cash reconciliations and assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Monitor publicly owned securities for the purpose of ensuring proper accounting treatment
• Assist in tracking hedge fund performance and underlying fund statistics and positions
• Learn and gain expertise in Addepar – family office investment reporting software
• Monitor payments of capital calls and receipt of distributions for extensive private market fund book
• Learn and assist in tax compliance, planning and strategies
• Research, implement, and maintain a formal general ledger system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong modeling and process orientation skillset
• Strong judgement and decision making skills
• Superior analytical, quantitative, and technical skills
• 3-5 years of work experience in accounting

Salary Range

$70,000-$100,000
