Job Description

Donovan & Watkins has partnered with a growing healthcare company near the Galleria area and is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Adhoc projects and reporting required
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports
  • Perform variance analysis on monthly financial reports
  • Perform AP, AR, and GL activities
  • Reconcile accounts, and analyze trends for costs, revenues, and financial commitments
  • Enter and maintain business transactions in Quick Books
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare daily/weekly bank deposits
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation
  • Helps to balance and reconcile general ledger accounts

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, experience with QuickBooks, and 2-3 years of GAAP experience. If you are interested in learning more, please send a resume to [email protected].
