Job Description

As a Staff Accountant at our leading automotive car parts manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, analyzing data, and supporting the growth of our organization.


Responsibilities

  • Utilize financial software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for external audits.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Participate in inventory management, tracking product costs, and conducting variance analysis.
  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and supporting documentation.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
