Job Type Full Time / Permanent


Work Authorization “no C2C” or “no sponsorship”


The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant. Ideal candidates must have a degree in accounting and 3+ years of general accounting experience including reconciliations, analyzing reports in excel, and preferably sales tax.


  • Prepare sales & use tax returns
  • Perform journal entries
  • Handle daily bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage the company balance sheet and identify/verify variances
  • Complete daily ACH payments
  • Run depreciation and post entries monthly
  • Support the controller with ad hoc, accounting related tasks


Education


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


Experience Required


  • Experience identifying and supporting growth plan strategies
  • Strong Excel skills
  • 3+ years' related accounting experience
  • Experience with reconciliations
  • Strong communications skills both written and oral


Experience Preferred


  • Prior experience with sales tax
  • Prior experience with inventory
  • Experience using Power BI
