Staff Accountant - Capital Assets

Compensation: To $36/hr.

Job Overview

Job Overview – Staff Accountant - Capital Assets – 31515

• Perform complex validations prior to processing of asset requests
• Provide training to internal customers on asset requests
• Perform other accounting tasks & assist with ad hoc projects
• Review/validate client contracts for compliance
• Ensure accounting conforms to policies & maintain internal controls
• Analyze asset purchase requests and determine correct setup
• Provide month-end support & record/post journal entries
• Lead asset physical inventories & act as a liaison between departments
• Answer customer questions regarding leases, assets, invoices & journal entries
• Validate complex violation requests & prepare/post journal entries
• Prepare monthly analysis & account reconciliations

Requirements

• GAAP and IFRS experience is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Solid excel experience
• Asset accounting experience is a plus
• Four-year degree in Accounting or Business w/ Accounting concentration OR Associates Degree in Accounting with 5-10 years of related experience
