- Responsible for preparing and booking journal entries
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks
- Prepare weekly payment register and mailing labels for distribution.
- Assist with year-end audit and tax preparations
- Supports the success of the organization by focusing on continuous improvements in business processes and preparation of internal control process documentation
- Assist in the month-end closing process
- Assist with special departmental projects, as necessary
- Process invoices, including obtaining approval and proper coding for accounting classification.
- Maintain and organize filing system for accounting documents
- Prepare accurate, compliant, and timely balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
- Set up Vendors and manage vendor files to maintain current information for Year End 1099s filing.
- Ability to manage and prioritize assignments.
- Quickbooks: 2 years
- Accounting: 1-2 years (preferred)
- Accounts Payable: 2 years
- Healthcare Industry Preferred
