  • Comprehensive understanding of plant-based operations, financials and supply chain
  • SAP
  • Bachelor’s Degree or other related degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and report on project progress
  • Sievo
  • Experience in Procurement with an understanding of spend insights, RFQs, supplier negotiations, TCO model
  • Possess and apply a broad knowledge of Supply Management principles/project management/risk management practices, and procedures.
  • E-Procurement/Contracts (Ariba) & Inventory Systems experience preferred
  • Power user of analytical tools – Excel, Power BI and database tools
  • 4
  • Years of experience in professional purchasing/sourcing or data analysis/supply chain analytics, and delivering results on set targets
  • Understanding of category strategy/sourcing process steps or similar stage gate based formal sourcing process is preferred
  • Passion for problem solving, creating value and improving processes


This role will be expected to travel 25-50% as required.


**What You’ll Do**


The Sourcing Analyst will build spend analysis tools to identify areas of untapped opportunity and work with Procurement team to develop plans to attack those areas to drive cost improvement.


The role will be tasked with gaining additional leverage points through benchmarking and engraining a best in class approach to sourcing events (formal stage gated sourcing process for major events, cost modeling, global benchmarking, negotiation planning tools, etc.).


You’ll Get To


  • Drive the sourcing process from RFI, to negotiation, through sourcing awarding business, with the guidance of the Category Manger, to attain optimal results for each targeted category in terms of total cost of ownership (Cost, quality, delivery, payment terms etc.)
  • Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and requests for information (RFIs) to potential suppliers, keeping in mind data needed for scenario modelling, cost analysis, etc.
  • Drive cadence of project meetings with Category managers and Purchasing managers for Wave Sourcing Project and report progress on weekly governance meetings.
  • Support the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) in developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Evaluate supplier responses, analyze proposals, and recommend the most suitable suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and other relevant factors (TCO).
  • Align with finance on savings methodology to assure strong approval process confirming all projects are delivering to the P&L
  • Analyze demand/market insights, NPD/SKU rationalization information, supplier spend data, and supplier performance KPIs providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders for comprehensive decision making for category sourcing strategies.
  • Develop skill sets for “best in class” benchmarks, tools, and processes to be used as leverage points in major sourcing events (cost modeling, global benchmarking, negotiation tools, etc.) driving Infinity Adoption.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends and dynamics
