As a QC Information Systems (QCIS)/ Sr. Analyst in Frederick, MD, you’ll play a pivotal role in channelling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. It offers one of the most exciting, fast paced, challenging and rewarding work environments in the world of operations, supply chain and manufacturing.

What you’ll do:

This position will be dedicated to the implementation of Biovia 1Lab Laboratory Execution System (LES) as an administrator and/or as a backfill of other enterprise systems (Labware LIMS and Empower) to support the project deliverables. Responsibilities as a QC Information Systems (QCIS) Analyst/Sr. Analyst in this role include day-to-day job functions, administration, and static data management, gathering user requirements, completing project deliverables, adherence to data integrity in a GMP setting, and the ability to effectively represent the team for site and global initiatives. Applicable candidates should be able to perform the following:

  • Execute protocols, reports, investigations, and other records, using Veeva on behalf of QC.
  • Interpret lab procedures and translate bench assays and other technical documents into computer applications.
  • Facilitate and coordinate training of new and existing users, prepare training materials as necessary.
  • Perform day-to-day activities, application administration, and static data management of lab and manufacturing quality control computerized systems.
  • Support QC lab functions, providing solutions to a variety of technical problems.
  • Strong communication skills in working with local users and above site project teams.
  • Participate in software/computer system validation, IT for software/computer applications and fulfill all networking and security requirements, and global IT for enterprise software applications.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills for on-time, accurate delivery of tasks.
  • Support QC information system lifecycle management activities from concept, development, validation, implementation, maintenance, to retirement.
  • Experience in bench work and interpretation of assay SOPs in a scientific lab setting is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred: Information Systems/Technology, Biotechnology, or other related scientific field.
  • 0-3+ years information management experience is preferred. Experience in bench work within a scientific lab setting a plus
