Job Description
In this role; you have the opportunity to
  • Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Within this role; you are responsible for:
  • Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards.
  • Install, assemble, and inspect electronic components during product assembly, per documented work instructions. Interpreting Job Routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.
  • Using hand and/or power tools and, jigs.
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
  • Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.
  • Modifying, soldering, reworking, repairing assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.
  • IPC-610, J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certification preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.
  • High School Diploma or GED and 10 plus years related experience preferred.
  • Electronics assembly and inspection experience with in-process soldering (both through hole and surface mount), rework/repair, wire attach, and mechanical assembly preferred.
  • Must be able to work for extended hours utilizing a microscope to perform inspection and solder touch-ups.
  • Hand soldering experience is required.
