We are a team of forward-looking professionals in need of a Sr. React Developer. The Senior React Developer shall have extensive experience in developing and maintaining high-performing Single Page Applications. The candidate will have prime accountability for major projects and will code, test, and implement proposed systems. The candidate will demonstrate design experience and will give and receive technical feedback during the Pull Request (PR) process. The candidate will be responsible for creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e., software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, static code analysis, peer/code review)

This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 10 years of experience
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience

Factors to Help You Shine (Required Skills):

These skills will help you succeed in this position:

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with React 16+ and React hooks
• Experience with Git and GitFlow
• Experience writing unit tests (i.e. mocha/chai/react testing library)
• Experience working on Agile projects and strong knowledge of Agile terminology and tools including VersionOne.
• Experience in developing the applications using Single-Page Architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with one or more frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.
• Extensive hands-on experience with one or more state manage solutions such as Redux, Flux, MobX, etc.
• Extensive experience with ES6 syntax and conventions (async/await, Promises, const/let, arrow functions, etc.)
• Experience with modern software development tools for Continuous Integration including Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Jira, Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube.
• Experience with REST/SOAP and Security (JWT, OAUTH2).
• Experience in coding “responsive” web pages with an understanding of the cross-browser limitations and browser compliance standards.
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities in web applications and addressing them.

• Prior experience with federal or state governments IT projects.
• Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.
• Experience with Node.js and writing/maintaining BFF layers

Education & Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Pay Range:

Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
