Sr Project Manager Jobs

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity to manage and execute capital engineering projects that will make a broader impact? My client is looking for someone to join their Operations team and manage capital projects ranging from $10MM-$100MM. The ideal candidate would reside in CA but could possibly work remotely 100% from home with travel to HQ monthly.

This company has raised funds and are in their next round of funding. They have developed a technology that reduces carbon related to gas, diesel, process heat, etc.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing both internal and external engineering resources and supporting planning, financial approval, and execution of various projects to drive improvement in their plants and facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful scale-up of their technology.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Evaluate and make recommendations based on data to meet project objectives
• Build and lead effective project teams to deliver exceptional results
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision
• Consult with management and R&D team to formulate and finalize scope and objectives for projects
• Review status reports prepared by project members and manage accountability to deliver against committed project deliverables
• Manage capital engineering projects through various phases to progress the scale-up of the technology
• Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
• Manage external engineering and construction resources for project design and execution

About You:

• 10+ years of related work doing project management in the Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Refining space
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in building pilot plants a huge plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in capital engineering projects
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience in developing and executing project plans
