Sr. People Business Partner

As a single-threaded leader of a business segment within the People team, the Sr. PBP (People Business Partner) provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your experience and passion for all things talent and people in a complex and global business. This role will report into the Director, People Business Partner and will be part of the broader PBP team.


The Opportunity:


The Sr. PBP serves as a liaison between central People teams, People leadership, and the business line to assess organizational needs across talent management, performance management, compensation, career development, and manager capability. The successful leader will dig deep to understand the business, earn trust across key stakeholders and partners, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and drive people mechanisms with both accuracy and efficiency. Identifying ways to operate “one to many” in order to scale is critical for success in this position as the Sr. PBP will support large business teams consisting of employees in various job functions, levels and geographies. This individual will need to demonstrate direct, concise and effective communication skills, both high-level strategic thinking and operational planning ability, empathy, and inclusion.


You Will:


  • Partner with the global People community to support a global workforce
  • Implement employee listening mechanisms to stay close to the business and to keep a pulse on the sentiment of the organization
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement People plans and solutions to achieve business objectives and deliver results for our customers
  • Build relationships with business, peers, and People teams across the organization
  • Ability to communicate ideas, data, and thoughts well both verbally and written. Clear, concise and direct communication is critical. Be comfortable challenging ideas and holding space for other perspectives to be heard.
  • Coach leaders through employee, leadership, management, and other situations
  • Take different perspectives and business needs, develop a solution that works, and move work forward. Support your opinions with sound reasoning grounded in the business and data.
  • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and job role initiatives
  • Drive cyclical talent activities
  • Review and analyze data for trends, dig into the numbers and partner with the business to derive action plans around performance, retention, and employee engagement
  • Lead high impact projects with on-time delivery, measurable outcomes and impact, and robust communication/change management


You Should Have:


  • 5-7 years of HR experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ in HRBP line role


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated ability to see patterns and set strategy while being able to dig into the details and
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Experience working on internationally distributed team
  • Ability to source, interpret, and use data to tell a story and influence decision makers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology organization where ambiguity, agility, and flexibility are valued daily
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner at all levels of organization to achieve results
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional listening skills and communication skills
  • Masters degree/MBA
  • Experience working with high growth teams

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.


The US base salary range for this full-time position: (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits.)


$105,000 - $125,000 USD per year
