Job Description
Make our Legal Team your best move ever

We’re looking for a Sr. Paralegal with strong attention to detail who has experience working within the entirety of the contract life cycle as a paralegal within a law firm or in-house legal department.

Why here?

TricorBraun is a global packaging leader, with team members working in locations throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. As North America’s largest distributor of primary packaging, we provide innovative solutions to customers from a wide variety of industries. Our customers range from cutting-edge start-ups to the world’s most iconic brands. We put people first and live by that every day. Join us and you will be welcomed by our friendly, motivated and supportive team. Many of the products we distribute are already sitting in your home.
Your role here

From Day 1, you will assume a wide range of responsibilities, including with respect to contracting, labor & employment, litigation, and corporate governance matters. The position requires strong initiative to take on work not assigned and act independently on detailed instructions; must be able to work in a team environment (be receptive to, and willing to challenge, other viewpoints) as well as be an individual contributor; must possess a high level of integrity and professional demeanor; must be discrete with confidential and proprietary information; should demonstrate good judgment, as well as the ability to remain focused and flexible and assist other areas of the legal department with unrelated and related tasks.

Your experience and background
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to follow through, keeping internal stakeholders informed on progress and timing of the performance of services.
  • Experience with contracts and contract management, corporate transactions, database organization, and both sales-side and procurement agreements.
  • Experience in assisting with compliance and regulatory matters, ongoing litigation (including responses to third-party subpoenas and legal holds), and HR matters (including severance agreements and related advisory issues).
  • Experience in traditional corporate paralegal responsibilities including the forming of new legal entities, maintaining minute books, resolutions, and corporate records for legal entities.
  • A.B./B.S. degree
  • Must have the ability to identify and assess risk and communicate effectively with internal team members, business partners, and outside counsel.
  • Paralegal Certificate and/or Notary Public a plus, but not a requirement
  • 5-7+ years’ experience as a paralegal required
  • Expertise in creating and implementing best practices for internal legal operations is considered a plus.

What you can expect from us

Because we’re a well-known and respected leader in packaging, we have many opportunities here. We’ll get you started with an exceptional training program providing both online, and hands-on work with colleagues. There’s always someone to answer any questions and ensure you’re getting the right information you need to excel. And the compensation and benefits are what you can expect from a people-first company.
  • Comprehensive benefits in medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Our salaries are competitive
  • Paid time off plus holidays
  • Tuition reimbursement, and much more
  • Retirement plan with employer match

We are proudly an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications.
