Job Description
Consumer Insights, Measurement, & Analytics (CIMA) is a team within Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) that is focused on inspiring consumer-centric, data-driven, high-return decision making that leverages insights and data at the core of every business decision. This role within CIMA will support efforts to influence and inform Marketing strategy development and enterprise-wide executive-level decision-making by measuring, analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting a broad spectrum of data (examples include media effectiveness, theme park attendance, resort and cruise bookings, and other key business driver metrics).


Responsibilities


  • Marry media insights with indicators gleaned from primary consumer research, website behavior, and business drivers to make recommendations to support marketing's impact on driving Guests to our properties.
  • Research industry trends, solving opportunities for value-added analysis, developing points of view to increase results, and framing recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead efforts to analyze the effectiveness of Marketing programs while delivering insights to improve results.
  • Communicate clear and compelling presentations to partners and executives
  • Analyze and integrate results from across the broader CIMA team and essential partner areas including Marketing and Sales Strategy, Costumer Engagement, Pricing, Planning & Forecasting, and Finance.
  • Connect the dots between desired marketing and business outcomes and actual results to make relevant recommendations to improve performance.


Basic Qualifications


  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in analytics, business planning or similar role
  • Ability to mentor, partner, and contribute individually
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Excel (can perform complex functions) and Tableau
  • Experience working in a matrixed team environment and with a variety of partners at all levels


Preferred Qualifications


  • Hospitality/Tourism industry experience preferred
  • Digital media campaign management experience a plus


Required Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with preferred concentration in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or similar field
