The Senior Manager, Professional Practice Business Operations is responsible for the management of professional services business operations across both campuses of the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC). Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to volume and productivity, revenue cycle management, quality program management, EMR management, provider onboarding. This position covers all employed and directly contracted providers, including both physicians and advanced practitioners, as well as physicians of the School of Medicine for who UMMC retains billing rights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Administrative Healthcare related field preferred) required. MBA and/or MHA preferred.
• Physician Practice experience preferred.
• Six years of experience in professional business operations and at least three years of experience in a relevant leadership role is required.
