$125k to 150k per year + BENEFITS (Depending on the experience)
DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Communicate and troubleshoot technical issues with clients
• Development
• Work with the support team to resolve issues
• Using best coding practices and procedures:
  • Support and maintain existing Java code base
  • Develop reusable and flexible applications
  • Fix defects
• Support and maintain existing Java code base
• Ensure projects are completed on or before development delivery dates
• Update and maintain documentation for the application
• Fix defects
• Communicate with all departments within the organization
• Develop reusable and flexible applications
• Work with project managers and business analysts to provide time estimates for new
• Perform peer code reviews

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be familiar with the full development cycle of Java-based web applications using the
following technologies:

• Must have: Ability to code pure Java with no framework
• Must be: Self proficient, requires minimal supervision, hands-on
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Experience with relational databases
• Nice to have: Api/data normalization
• Experience with Oracle, Mysql, MariaDB, Postgresql, and Sybase.
• Access to a remote working environment with a modern computer, a computer camera, a telephone, and high-speed internet
• Preferred: Experience using Git, Jira, Agile, SaaS, Microservices
• Must be able to work in the USA without any restrictions
• Spring Boot is an added bonus
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar technical field of study
• Able to work outside of normal business hours, as needed
• Experience with Java 11+
• 6+ years of experience developing programs and/or applications using Java
• Added bonus: non-SQL DBS like Redis/MongoDB/Cassandra.
• Experience exposing or consuming APIs
• Able to successfully complete an online algorithm test during the interview
• Experience with data structures and algorithms
• Experience with No SQL Database
• Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
• Must have: Advanced understanding of Java language and its APIs (Runnable, Http wrappers, Lambda expressions, Multithreading, etc.)
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Able to work in the office and remotely
• Experience using Maven/Gradle
• Nice to have: Microservices experience
• Proficient in using pure Java and be comfortable writing its own utilities and solutions
• Nice to have: High availability/concurrency services impl.
