We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Core Java Developer to join our team in either Charlotte, NC or one of our Texas locations. As a Senior Core Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable Java-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement solutions, and ensure high-quality code delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality and stability.
• Optimize application performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest Java trends, tools, and frameworks, and propose innovative solutions to enhance application development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and testers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable Java applications.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise and best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Experience in the financial industry or related domains is preferred but not required.
