This role is open to candidates within a commutable distance of our Meridian, ID office. This role is exempt salary and pays $75,000-$95,000 annually, dependent on experience. This role is open to candidates who do not require visa sponsorship.


The HR team is looking for a Sr. HR Generalist who has a passion for people and overall HR functions to provide administrative Human Resource support to the team and/or employees in our fast-growing organization. Under the general direction of the Sr. HR Manager, the incumbent will assist in administering key HR functions for both our California and out of state locations including but not limited to: employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, new hire orientation, background checks, general HR transactional activities, records management, policy compliance and assist with various programs/procedures for all company employees i.e. company engagement/training activities. Assists employees and managers related to policies and procedures and escalates and/or performs additional research as appropriate to ensure optimum employee experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Manages ad-hoc reporting and associated analysis and reconciliation of data as needed to ensure compliance with state, federal and location regulations.
  • Compiles data and prepares reports, synthesizes complex data and participates in audit preparation.
  • Assists with scheduling Company events including: luncheons, training, holiday festivities, etc.
  • Change management and quality control of employee changes - notification to payroll and records management in accordance with employee change management procedures.
  • Performs research on RFPs, optimizes and implements new and or existing systems including: HRIS, LMS, Ben Admin, ATS, etc. HRIS system management and optimization including data integrity verification, process creation and implementation and ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Completes verifications of employment or state unemployment / disability response forms and ensures secure storage of associated records. Works in conjunction with ADP service offering.
  • Works in conjunction with the Recruitment team related to: job postings, offer letter preparation, job description preparation and hiring manager interface.
  • Attends staff, departmental, and required meetings.
  • Manages onboarding including: new hire orientation and training, I-9 completion, health benefit orientations, ensuring attendance and registration for required trainings, development and completion of procedural checklists ensuring to update as required and auditing for quality control, ensure proper completion of new hire documentation via e-signatures and notification to payroll process.
  • Leaves of absence administration including but not limited to: providing guidance to employees and managers on LOA processes/procedures, documentation preparation, tracking, coordination with payroll and insurance carriers, coordination of paid time off benefits and administration of appropriate documentation.
  • Assists with performance management process and manager coaching.
  • Manages administration of workers’ compensation claims and follow up on open claims.
  • Responsible for records management and personnel file maintenance in combination of electronic, within the HRIS + ancillary platforms including: general employment related documents, I-9s, retirement plan forms, medical and leave documentation, safety, training etc.
  • Facilitates pre-employment processing including: administering background checks and adverse action notices if necessary in accordance with background check criteria matrix, assessment testing and other tasks as needed specific to a position.
  • Health & Welfare Benefit administration including but not limited to: new employee online enrollments, annual open enrollment, benefit orientations, required mailings and/or e-distribution of documents, drafting employee communications, resolving employee inquiries, interfacing with benefits broker for resolution of issues when needed.
  • Supports key compliance initiatives on an ongoing basis and drafts required employee / manager communication.
  • Manages off boarding such as: request for final paychecks, preparation of individualized exit packages, system access (various platforms) / security termination, termination of benefits, completion of off boarding procedural checklists and adherence with quality control measures.
  • Ensures archiving of records both for terminated employees
  • Performs research, creates decks and conducts training in support of key organizational training development and initiatives.


Requirements:


  • Ability to create training decks using PowerPoint is a plus!
  • Must have the ability to learn HRIS, Benefit and Payroll systems
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Docusign experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • SHRM / HRCI certification preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent
