The Sr. HR Manager, Distribution Center is responsible for partnering with Hebron Distribution Center leaders to create a positive and engaging workplace. In this role, you will be the hands-on generalist in human resource related operations to include staffing, training, labor relations, employee relations and strategic areas including employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning. You will report to the Senior HR Director, Global Distribution & Logistics.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance; mitigate legal risks and ensures regulatory compliance. Partners with Employment Counsel as needed/required
  • Leverages learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees; creates and facilitates relevant training to business partners and related groups
  • Provides support and guidance to management other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; investigates allegations and drives implementation of solutions where relevant
  • Manages and supports the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Collaborates with distribution center leaders to identify and deploy creative and engaging workforce and talent solutions; understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, engagement, and succession planning, with a focus on DE&I
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Represents organization when engaging with labor relations issues, employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Partners with peer HRBP’s and COE to deliver seamless support to the organization
  • Co-owns the union relationship with the aim of building and maintaining a strategic partnership that enables the achievement of business goals. Includes deep understanding of the relationship, management of contract, and implementation of procedures and programs related to labor relations
  • Advocates the organizational values and builds accountability for supporting a respectful, inclusive workplace culture that represents the LS&Co. values
Qualifications:
  • 5 years' minimum experience in a distribution center environment or similar
  • Drives solutions with a sense of urgency, striving for consistency with LS&Co. HR policies and practices
  • 7 - 10 years’ relevant HR experience
  • Trusted adviser and partner to leaders at all levels, with proven ability to influence and drive high-impact outcomes for the business and the workforce
  • Lives the LS&Co. values of empathy, originality, integrity and courage
  • Proven ability to use workforce data & analytics to gauge organizational effectiveness, surface trends and opportunities, and drive organizational impact
  • Strong relationship builder, solutions-oriented, and team player who relates positive workforce culture
  • Labor relations experience in a union environment strongly preferred

The expected starting salary range for this role is $93,500- $145,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
