To ensure proper supervision of Environmental Services staff:

• May be responsible for distribution and control of Linen.
• Formulates plans for improving housekeeping programs.
• Formulates plans and directs training programs for subordinates.
• Maintains relationships with administration and housekeeping staff.
• Under general direction, supervises the housekeeping activities of assigned personnel, i.e. proper cleaning methods and use of equipment and supplies.
• Responsible for ordering, issuing, and control of supplies and equipment being used.
• Evaluates effectiveness of housekeeping program, studies new cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies, and requisitions experimental quantities.
• Reports hazards, repairs required, and follows up for completeness.
• Makes inspections to determine if standards of cleanliness are being maintained by staff.
• Responsible for maintaining records and preparing reports.
• Prepares budget requests for personnel, equipment and supplies.

One year of service in the title of Housekeeper or performing housekeeping or related functions.

Experience in customer service, hospital infection control practices, and healthcare cleaning procedures.

Tour 3 4pm -12am
