We are seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pennsylvania (Allentown, Pittsburgh, or Wilkes-Barre).
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and 5+ years experience with knowledge of designing piping systems for warehouse facilities.
This position will lead the development of plans, specifications, studies, estimates, and material lists for Plumbing and HVAC projects in the Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Government, and Power markets.
Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for developing engineering drawings, sketches, Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, and Control Diagrams and lead junior engineers
•Perform and document mechanical design tasks for large HVAC, plumbing, and process mechanical projects
•Identify areas of the facility or project site that require 3D scanning for the design process
•Perform site visits to document existing conditions and understand client needs
•Provide construction administration services, which may include a review of shop drawings, attending meetings, field inspection, system startup, and de-bugging
•Drive safety initiatives
•Develop construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
•5 + years of industry experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
•Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
•Proficiency with project management and financial analysis tools
•Strong writing, documentation, communication, and leadership skills
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
