Sr. Business Analyst

Description of duties:

This position is responsible for defining, planning, and leading strategic company projects as well as overseeing system configuration and support activity related to ERP, CRM, and SFA systems. This position has a continued focus on IIBA and PMI knowledge areas, processes, and tools. Interaction with business leaders is required, especially in the areas of business analysis, requirements definition, facilitating solutions, test plan development, project management, solution delivery, and production support.

• Provide best-practice guidance on the configuration and use of NetSuite and Salesforce.com software
• Manage the configuration and integrity of application and infrastructure systems
• Work with NetSuite and Salesforce.com users to create and execute project test plans
• Provide project management services for critical and complex business projects
• Align technology processes, policies, and practices with the IIBA and PMI frameworks
• Provide data analysis services to help the business identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement
• Support and exhibit established SecondLifeMac Corporate Values
• Lead requirements gathering, design, planning, testing, and deployment activities
• Perform other duties as directed by management
• Design, test, deploy, and support NetSuite and Salesforce.com solutions to meet defined business needs
• Translate business processes and requirements into application solutions
• Manage NetSuite and Salesforce.com support activity to ensure timely resolution of requests and issues
• Manage maintenance and enhancement projects with software vendors

Requirements & Experience

• 3 years of experience configuring and managing NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• 3 years of experience working with order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and supply chain processes
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of project management and business analysis experience, knowledge of IIBA and PMI preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Visio
• 5 years of experience architecting, implementing, and supporting software solutions in a mid-size or larger company
• Proficient extracting and updating data via SQL statements, and building reports
