This position is needed to tell local stories of student-athletes, cover the games, and provide the scores for a sports hungry West Central Ohio. Will help provide extensive local coverage of high schools and surrounding colleges. On top of local sports, we cover the Big 10 football, NASCAR, NFL, and MLB. However, our focus is local, local, and more local sports. This is a full-time position with the possibility of advancement in an always changing business. This position will anchor various sportscasts, along with the reporting. We are seeking an individual who is creative, energetic, and has a knack for telling people stories.

Experience:

• Experience with JVC cameras, transitioning into Canon, a plus. Knowledge of editing in Final Cut and Adobe Premiere, as well as use of AP’s ENPS.
• A clean driving record is required.
• Knowledge of Ohio sports a plus.
• Must be able to report, shoot and edit. Live experience a must.
• A college degree is required.
• Web savvy and can further develop a sports web page is a bonus.
