Job Description
  • Follow guidance and guidelines established by supervisor.
  • Follow ONT procedures when completing paperwork and forms.
  • Inventory any material owned by ONT.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple students in different corporations
  • Report Medicaid for billing (as appropriate) and submit in a timely manner.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Work collaboratively with Education Coordinator and other school personnel.
  • Good organizational, communication and technology skills
  • Work directly with students who are deaf/hard of hearing (as assigned).
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Work closely with supervisor(s) and follow Individual Education Plans.
  • Work directly with students on speech and language needs.
  • Maintain student files.
  • Assist speech language pathologist and/or teacher for the deaf/hard of hearing by performing all duties assigned including grade K, 1, 4, 7, and 10 hearing screenings.
  • Assume all other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the operation of Old National Trail Special Services Interlocal and as may be assigned by the Director of Special Education, Assistant Director, or designee.
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate.
  • Track attendance of therapy sessions, track progress on annual goals, and assist supervisor in tracking any necessary data.
  • Complete purchase orders as necessary.
  • Valid Indiana Certification license as Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
  • Communicate with supervisors and share progress and needs of students with supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with assigned supervisor(s).
  • Attend ONT staff meetings – including Speech Meetings.
  • Attend in-services to keep abreast of current trends and practices in the professional field. 5. Maintain accurate log of services.
