The International Strategy group is seeking candidates with broad commercial experience to support the development and communication of Delta’s International & Alliances strategy. The Atlanta based role will engage heavily with teams across the organization to support the development of our long-term international vision and create strategic business cases that drive margin growth in the franchise.


Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):


  • Develop strategic business cases involving DL’s International business & partnerships.
  • Support development of annual International & Alliances plan and other strategic presentations for Delta leadership
  • Support overseas matrix leaders and Expat staff.
  • Conduct strategic and competitive analysis to analyze DL’s opportunities and threats and provide current insights to leadership.

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)


  • Leading candidates will possess one or more of the following experiences:
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Able to work collaboratively across multiple professional disciplines.
  • Creating senior executive level presentations
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a technical or business discipline
  • Develop financial metrics and reports that are accurate and timely and provide insight into the company’s performance.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Utilize quantitative skills to analyze complex data, interpret results, provide recommendations, and communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Should work well in a team environment and possess a high degree of initiative.


What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)


  • Working knowledge of PRISM, RPAD, SAS, Diio, Hyperion, Tableau, and similar business intelligence tools preferred
  • Experience working with International teams
  • MBA or graduate degree
