The Estacada School District is seeking a pool of applicants to be considered for a Spanish Teacher at the Estacada Middle School for the 2023/2024 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be flexible and willing to work in person, on campus and/or virtually.
• Successful classroom experience desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Meet the District minimum physical requirements, basic skills, and/or health standards for the position, including the recent vaccine mandate. If you are not vaccinated against COVID-19, we will be unable to offer you the position unless you have a documented medical or religious exemption.
• Valid Oregon TSPC License (or ability to hold prior to August 22, 2023) with the proper endorsement(s) and committed to keeping their license in good standing with TSPC.
• Prefer teachers who have a strong support of a continuous learning model in the classroom for students and staff; support and believe that a system based on learning, as opposed to teaching, should be our systems focus; supports proficiency based learning and grading, and is willing to take risks.
• Successful candidates shall demonstrate proficiency to communicate clearly and appropriately verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

• Contract July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024. One-year probationary, renewable contract by March 15th.
• $53,832-$91,740 (Starting 23/24, dependent upon verified years of experience and education as shown on official transcripts)
