Sourcing & Procurement Buyer (Hybrid)

Sourcing & Procurement Buyer hybrid* position will support the procurement operational staff with confirmations, scanning, order placement, match exceptions, customer service, credit memos, etc.

• Hybrid

• Out of State: Would not be required to come into the office 4 days/per month
• Outside Immediate Triad/Triangle area: Would not be required to come into the office 4 days/per month, although may be asked to attend mandatory onsite meetings/trainings, not to exceed twice a year
• Immediate Triad/Triangle area: May be required to come into the office to work up to 4 days/per month

Education / Qualifications

• Normally a B.A./B.S. Degree w/3-5 years of experience is preferred.

What to Expect

• Will be a member of cross departmental teams that will include all stakeholders in the PO/invoice resolution process.
• Obtains quotes from Suppliers.
• Serves as a liaison between the corporate purchasing department and other departments within the company to ensure they are kept current in procedures and policies.
• Ensures timeliness of response, cost effectiveness, and quality of materials.
• Special request orders as well as working match exceptions (which includes price discrepancies, quantity/UOM discrepancies, and item shipped discrepancies, etc.) and PO customer services requests.
• Selects quality suppliers for procurement of products.
• Processing purchase orders within the department.
