Job Description

WHAT WE SEEK

At Carnegie Learning, we believe that no two students learn alike. With deep roots in research and advanced education technology, we learn more every day about how students learn best, and we use that insight to help educators drive continually better outcomes. We work hard to create an engaging, supportive company culture where we can all thrive while doing work that improves education every single day.

As a CL Inspire intern, you are part of a top-notch learning experience with engineers from all backgrounds. You’ll work side-by-side with a dedicated, experienced engineer as your mentor and have ownership of a high-impact project. You will spend around 25% of your time in on-the-job learning, and the rest solving real problems Carnegie Learning is facing. This is a 10-week internship from September 11, 2023 and finishing up on Nov 17, 2023 with possibilities of extension.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a team of Engineers to solve real life problems, including exposure to coding, development, testing and scrum leadership. You’ll learn how to apply problem solving skills to real life challenges, pick up new technical skills such as programming in multiple languages, learn about software testing and other industry practices and see how software is designed and developed.

We value a learning mindset and potential over experience. If you do not satisfy every requirement listed, do not hesitate to apply. If you have the passion and work ethic for this role, and your values align with ours, apply. We will make sure we give you the opportunity to realize your full potential.
