Ridgeline is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our software team. This is a great opportunity to get hands on coding experience with modern languages like Java, Python, Angular, and SQL.

What You’ll do:

• Develop performant, reliable, testable and maintainable code
• Practice good documentation using tools like Confluence and Jira
• Partner with the Software testing team to automate testing processes and reporting
• Participate in agile software development processes
• Participate in all aspects of software development activities: software design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation

• Proficiency and experience with at least one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, or Javascript (bonus points for frameworks like Angular and Spring Boot)
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Exposure to software development tools and frameworks, including source control management tools (e.g., Git)
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance, US Citizenship is required

Internship Details and Physical Requirements:

• Ridgeline’s 2023 Internships begin on Jun 1, 2023 and run through August 11, 2023
• Internships based are primarily located in Ridgeline’s headquarters campus located in McLean, VA. In limited cases, some remote work is permitted
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
• Constantly work with computers and other office productivity equipment
